Affiliate Disclosure

How affiliate partnerships work on Health and Beyond — and how we stay honest.

The Short Version

Some of the links on Health and Beyond are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. The price is the same whether you click our link or go directly to the retailer.

We are participants in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, ShareASale, Impact, and other affiliate programs. These partnerships help us keep Health and Beyond free for everyone.

We never recommend products we wouldn't personally use. Honesty comes before commissions, always.

How We Choose What to Recommend

The products we recommend fall into one of these categories:

  • Products we personally use and have tested over time.
  • Products supported by legitimate research for the condition we're writing about.
  • Products that pass our "would we tell our sister to buy this?" test.

What we will not recommend, ever:

  • "Cure" programs, protocols, or gimmick supplements
  • Products from brands with a history of misleading labeling or regulatory issues
  • MLM / network marketing products
  • Anything we haven't tested or can't back up with research
  • Products from brands that pressure us to soften an honest review

How We Write Product Reviews

  1. Research the category. Understand what the product is supposed to do and what the evidence actually shows.
  2. Test when possible. For physical products, we use them ourselves before writing about them.
  3. Evaluate honestly. Pros get listed. Cons get listed too — genuinely.
  4. Name better alternatives. If a cheaper, better option exists, we'll say so — even if we earn less on it.
  5. Disclose the relationship. Every article containing affiliate links displays a clear disclosure at the top.

Commissions never influence our rankings. The product that gets the "Best Pick" badge is the product we think is actually the best pick — not the one with the highest commission rate.

What Affiliate Programs We Belong To

  • Amazon Associates — supplements, books, and household items
  • ShareASale and Impact networks — brand-specific partnerships
  • Direct partnerships with specific women's health brands
  • ConvertKit and other tools we use ourselves and recommend

FTC Disclosure Compliance

This page, together with disclosures on individual articles, is intended to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides. Whenever an article contains affiliate links, you'll see a clear disclosure at the top of the post — not hidden in a footer.

If you ever feel a disclosure is missing or unclear, please let us know.

Your Support Means Everything

If you find a product through one of our reviews and decide to buy it through our link, thank you. Genuinely. That support is what lets this site exist.

But please: never buy a product just to "support the site." Buy it because you've read the review and decided it's a fit for you. Your health is the priority. Always.
